Hotel Madin, Varanasi

The hotel rooms are much nicer than the lobby, but there were issues with lights not working and security entering the room. The service was very inefficient and lacking empathy in handling problems. The location is a bit far from major attractions. Dining needs improvement on food quality. Overall, the property falls short of a 5-star experience.

I stayed on the 6th floor, right by the roof swimming pool, which was a nice touch after exploring the bustling city. The interior planning was well done, although the rooms were smaller than expected. The hotel staff was attentive and professional, although they forgot our packed breakfast we ordered. The location was just okay, a bit far from the main attractions but easily accessible to prominent places. The dining options were limited with a mediocre experience, but decent coffee and cappuccino were available.
